About Me

       Hi my name is Akeem Long, owner of Alkame Mobile Massage. I attended Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee WI where I studied Management Info Systems in Business.  I later attended Cortiva Institute School of Massage in Baltimore MD, where I was licensed for massage therapy in 2018. In 2023 I moved back to Milwaukee and am now licensed in Wisconsin as well. My goal is to help people live a better life utilizing the healing benefits of massage therapy.  

My passion is to help people elevate, and one way to become better is to relax and heal. Massage therapy, meditating, and simply fully breathing can do wonderful things for the body and one's life. Especially when done regularly. I have experience working in an high-end airport spa, a local privately owned spa, and have been providing mobile massage therapy over the last three years.  My results focused massage techniques centers on each clients needs as I use a combination of modalities for optimum results. 

During my off time I enjoy reading and the outdoors, camping, hiking, swimming, and biking. I love spending time with my family and friends. Along my journey being in pursuit of being my self I began eating a whole food plant based living. I love to cook and make juices/smoothies. I began to read self help/ personal development books where I came across the book the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, an inspiration to my thinking, lifestyle, and this business. 

About Alkame

Alkame pronounced Alchemy was made to honor Kemet(modern day Egypt), where the oldest findings of inventors, science and mathematic studies can be found. The original word Alchemy is thought to be a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination. Ancient Afrikans elaborated upon it with Astrology, Religion, Mysticysm, Magic, and other studies. It was pivotal to the studies of the Ancient Afikans studies of matter, motion, forces of nature, and physics. Today using the universal collective of information being centered around transforming the body from being tired, stiff, and inflamed feeling rusty, to its golden feeling self, one massage at a time.
